逆 A 高达的原盘正片大部分镜头是 35mm 胶片扫描而来，总体画质较好。画面赛璐珞胶片质感强烈，线条粗犷且边缘存在大量晕轮，背景纹理细节丰富但充满大量噪点。针对这种情况，我们首先对原盘进行了自适应降噪。为了避免破坏原盘赛璐珞质感，我们分离了画面的静态和动态噪点，并分别对其应用不同的噪点强度调整策略。其次，我们针对线条边缘的大量晕轮，在确保画面不受破坏的前提下采取了较大力度的去晕轮处理。最后配合中等参数的 x265 进行压制，在保证画质的情况下实现一个较好的体积画质比。
Most scenes in the original source of Turn A Gundam are scanned from 35mm films, and the overall image quality is good. It possesses a strong celluloid image style and has bold line-art with extensive ringing around edges. Textures in the background are rich in details but also full of noise. For pre-processings, we firstly applied adaptive de-noising; we then separated static and motion noise and used different noise level tuning methods; this is to avoid damages to the celluloid image style. For the extensive ringing, we adopted strong de-ringing while ensuring the image is not damaged. Encoding was done with medium x265 parameters to achieve a good size-quality ratio while maintaining the image quality.

一开始让我开 Turn A 这个坑，我是拒绝的。因为在真正的高达有胡子吗？没有！然而重温该作时，其童话般的剧情、有如宫崎骏般的赛璐珞画风、菅野洋子交响风格的音乐、月之茧、女装男主等等，最终勾起了我开坑的欲望。原盘正片强劲的噪点和晕轮、一些诸如在 24p 的正片里突然混入一集 30i 的骚操作以及充满点蠕和彩虹的上古特典，都给制作过程带来不小的麻烦。一句话，做老番真让人头秃。—— Steinbarsch

这次的番比较折腾，总监在试压了 N 个版本后才终于得到满意的体积与画质开始量产。整体压制时间较长，在双开的情况下 1950X+1080 的压制效率也要 5h 一集左右，电费都飞了 233。虽然对高达系列剧情方面都不太了解（没童年），但从音乐方面来说，菅野洋子作为日本知名的音乐制作人，在整体的音乐把控上做的无可挑剔。录音方面大量采用同期录音的方式（财大气粗），使多数乐曲都可以被以交响乐队演奏的形式再次呈现。—— 匿名压制
