时隔数年的冰菓 rework。这次全部内容都用 HEVC 重压，比起旧版本提高了画质定位，改善了很多处理手段。冰菓原盘的画质不错，线条清晰纹理丰富，但精良的画风掩盖之下有不少小问题：有些场景的色带很严重，丰富的噪点因为欠码而被压碎了，出现了小色块，线条有轻微锯齿和晕轮。针对这些特点，我们配合保护手段进行了抗锯齿、去色带、去晕轮和纹理增强，噪点基本都保留了下来，整体处理力度比较保守，并不惜码率用了高还原度的参数。
This is a rework of our previous Hyouka release. Four years has passed, and now we could re-encode everything with HEVC, with improved pre-processing and targeting higher quality standards. The Blu-ray source of Hyouka is decent, with clear line art and rich texture, but also has various small issues: some scenes have very heavy banding, grain blocking due to insufficient bit-rate, and slight aliasing/ringing in the line art. We applied masked anti-aliasing, debanding, deringing and texture enhancement to fix those issues, and kept most of the grains. Pre-processing is relatively conservative overall, and we used high quality HEVC parameters aiming for transparency.

冰菓重制是我从做片伊始就抱持的夙愿，因为实际上冰菓一直没有一个很让人满意的版本，包括 VCB-Studio 的旧版本，以现在的眼光来看其实还是不够好的。但由于我个人的产能原因一直拖着，一晃就是三年，直到今年七月的京阿尼大火事件，让我下定决心放下手中其他事，先把冰菓压出来。这次发布的是纪念作，参与制作的组员也都是京蜜，大家做得很用心，临近发布的时候因为发现了漏掉的瑕疵，又回炉重造，根据不同场景使用不同处理脚本分段重压了一遍。历时两个月，总算是了却一桩心愿。然而即使小说已经凑够了一季度的剧情，武本康弘监督、西屋太志作监以及许多其他社员却再也没有机会制作冰菓的第二季了。愿逝者安息。 by 静流的抱枕
Hyouka rework has been a long time wish of mine ever since I started as a ripper. Actually there has never been a very satisfying version of Hyouka BDrip, including the old version from VCB-Studio, considering all kinds of new techniques we have now. Due to the time contraints of mine, it has been three years until the KyouAni arson attack in July, I finally decided puting everything else aside and focusing on this project. As a memorial project, all participating members of VCB-S are KyoAni fans, and everyone tried their best. A remaining banded scene was found after we almost finished everything, and we had to re-encode all main episodes with scene-specific filtering. The project took two months to finish, and this dream of mine has finally come true. However, even there is now enough stories to make up for a whole new season, director Yasuhiro Takemoto, chief animation director Futoshi Nishiya, along with many others from KyoAni won't be able to participate making the next season. May they rest in peace.
