薇尔莉特在战场上听到了无法忘却的话语。那是一个对她而言比谁都重要的人告诉她的话语。

某个时代的一个切尔西斯大陆。持续了四年的南北分割的战争结束了，人们迎来了新的时代。
曾经被称做“武器”的少女，薇尔莉特·伊芙加登，离开了战场后，想在C·H邮政迎来新的人生。
她在那里得到了一份根据对方的想法来组织出相应词语的自动手记人偶的工作，开始有了心。做着自动手记人偶工作的薇尔莉特，与人们的内心开始不断交流，也接触到了许许多多感情和爱意。
与此同时，薇尔莉特也一直寻找那个时候的那句话的意思。
